As if growing a human isn’t exhausting enough, adding ‘create a registry’ on your to-do list can feel overwhelming…especially if this is your first baby. Where do you even start? The overload of information regarding registries tends to be unhelpful so let us at Freya Movement help you start a registry of things you’ll actually use!
Freya Movement’s 5 go-to Registry Finds -
1 - Baby Bjorn Bouncer - This is a product that can grow with the baby. They can use this bouncer from 0 - 2 years old so you don’t have to buy a new one when they grow. This is a great piece of equipment to have when showers would like to be had.
2 - Hatch white noise machine - Whether you live on a busy NYC street or on a quiet corner, having a great white noise machine is key! Hatch’s products will help your baby sleep undisturbed from the outside world.
3 - Diaper genie - There’s no need to make baby’s diapers the main scent in your home. Diaper genies help with odor control, they don’t take up much space, and have a few size options depending on your space.
4 - Sleep pea sleep sack - These sacks are made of 100% organic cotton and take the guesswork out of swaddling with a quick 5 second secure wrap. They were created by a pediatrician so safety was their number one concern. These sacks are great for keeping baby’s arms in the wrap and there is an option for arms out of the sack during the transition for babies who are almost ready to sleep without a sack.
5 - Warm muffs - Winter is coming and having warm hands while pushing the baby around will make a big difference as temperatures drop. They will keep your hands cozy with a sherpa lined interior and they’ll stay on the stroller handle so you don’t have to stress about losing one.
While there are more things to add to your registry, we hope that this is a jumping off point to inspire you and not overwhelm you. Just like everything in life, create your registry one product at a time. We are all doing the best we can and you can edit and adjust your registry accordingly. Happy registering!
